The Laboratory Analyst is responsible for receiving and analyzing samples as per requirements.

The role emphasizes safety, speed, quality of output, and accuracy in laboratory operations.

5. Sample Preparation & Analysis (30%)

• Receive, sort, dry, pulverize, crush, weigh, and analyze samples.
• Conduct moisture, slimes, and heavy mineral content analysis.
• Perform analytical procedures following standard protocols.

6. Data Recording (20%)

• Maintain accurate sample records and complete daily checklists.
• Ensure correct data entry into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

7. Equipment & Machinery (5%)

• Report equipment defects and conduct first-line maintenance.
• Ensure proper equipment functionality and timely repairs.

8. Work Environment & Housekeeping (10%)

• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory space.
• Properly archive and dispose of samples.

9. Environmental Responsibility

• Adhere to environmental policies on waste and water management.
• Report environmental incidents and support sustainability initiatives.
