• Safely operate the Hiab truck to lift, move, and position heavy materials, equipment, and supplies as required within the mining site.
• Transport materials to designated locations within the mining site, adhering to specified routes and safety protocols
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on the Hiab truck to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues that may require repair or servicing.
• Operate other various lifting equipment and rigging of loads.
• Keep accurate records of materials transported, hours worked, and any incidents or maintenance performed on the Hiab truck using the JSA and Lifting plan documents.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues to maintenance personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of hours worked, miles driven, fuel consumption, and cargo deliveries to comply with regulations and company policies.
• Maintain communication with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers using two-way radios or mobile devices to provide updates on delivery status and any incidents encountered on the road.
• Practice defensive driving techniques and adhere to safety protocols to minimize accidents, injuries, and property damage.
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering cargo on time, responding to inquiries, and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during transit.
• Prioritize personal health and wellness by adhering to rest and sleep regulations, maintaining proper nutrition, and engaging in regular exercise to ensure alertness and safety on the road.
• Respond effectively to emergencies such as accidents, breakdowns, or adverse weather conditions by following company procedures and protocols to ensure the safety of oneself and others on the road.
