Job Responsibilities

Electrical installation at Kwale Mine Site & Port Facility
Trouble shooting of faulty electrical equipment both on Main Site & Port Facility
Developing preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems to ensure that system
Repair and troubleshooting of faulty electrical equipment
Developing preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems to ensure that system breakdowns, failures and repairs are addressed promptly
Interpreting various Electrical Schematic Diagrams on Mine Site
Training of new technicians on evaluating installed electrical equipment and systems to isolate faults and implement corrective actions
Identify and perform root cause analysis on equipment failures
Installation of Fire Suppression Systems (Ardent Check Fire 210 Detection & Actuation Systems) on various Generators and other delicate electrical machines.
Plan, coordinate, execute and supervise all work activities in the maintenance of mining equipment including attending breakdowns, preventive maintenance, mechanical inspections, troubleshooting, diagnose and repair all major and minor systems
Supervise, monitor, and implement maintenance Standard Operating Procedures or workshop and equipment, safety rules and company procedures.
