• Effective monitoring and control of plant ensuring the plant settings are maintained and not changed and the water reticulation and the flocculants plants for portable and process water are running smoothly.
• Effective control and monitoring of process dam level by ensure the plant equipment is clean and clear of spillage at all times.
• Establish that all process-related equipment is maintained and out-of-line situations are reported to the relevant department.
• Confirm that plant start-up and shut-down and circuits are completed within the required and agreed time frame.
• Make certain that all sections are left in a pre-planned safe state after shutdown.
• Ensure correct stock levels/consumables are maintained for all areas.
• Verify plant samples are taken correctly and deviations noted.

Verify the operation of the concentrator is within the required envelope as per company requirements; production targets achieved, equipment utilization and minimize downtimes.

• Operating and maintaining of the Concentrator plant within an acceptable loading envelope under plant dispatch directive and output designated by management.
• Monitoring process operations using PLC-SCADA taking corrective measures communicating and coordinating with responsible personnel.
• Completing and ensuring all logs and records are clear, concise, and according to guidelines.
• Issuing of permits and follow up on safety compliances in all aspects of production, carrying out risk assessments and hazard reporting.
• Responsible for the shift handover for the incoming reliever on plant progress.
