Why Participate?

By creating a profile on the Skills Database, you will have another avenue for sourcing employment by actively showcasing your skills and experience to potential employers in the external marketplace.

How do You Participate

Follow these simple steps:

  1. Read the Terms and Conditions.
  2. Submit your Profile. Note you will need supporting documentation to complete this:
    1. Passport-sized photograph.
    2. Updated Curriculum Vitae/Resume.
  3. Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  4. Create your profile by completing the form and attaching your supporting documents.
  5. Confirm and submit your profile for review.

Terms And Conditions


Following the announcement of the mine closure, Base Titanium Ltd (Base) re-launched the Life After Mine Program. The purpose of this Program is to assist employees prepare and plan for their transition out of the company.


One component of the Life After Mine Program_ _is a Skills Database which will allow employees to showcase their skills and experience to potential employers in the external job market.


a) Consent to Collect Personal Data


Should you wish your details to be included in the Skills Database, you will need to provide Base with consent to collect, store, and use your personal data. Below is a list of the type of personal data that will be collected.



  1. Full Name

  2. Identity Card Number

  3. Contact Information (e.g., phone number, email address)

  4. Employment History

  5. Educational Background

  6. Certifications and Training

  7. Skills and Qualifications

  8. References


b) Data Security and Confidentiality


Base is committed to maintaining the security and confidentiality of your personal data and will implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard your data from potential risks like unauthorized access, loss, and/or misuse of information.


Your personal data will only be accessible to authorised personnel with a legitimate and lawful need.


c) Sharing of the processed personal data with third parties


Once you have provided Base with consent, your personal data will be available in the public domain. You acknowledge that although the Skills Database will be marketed to relevant potential employers and/or recruiters, as a tool to showcase competencies and skills and that they must accept terms and conditions of use before accessing the data, Base has no control over who will access the information or how it will be used .


d) The right to withdraw consent


Your participation in the Skills Database is voluntary, and you may revoke your consent at any time. You will also have the right to access, correct, or update your personal information stored in the database.


To withdraw consent and/or access your data please write or speak to the HR department or send an email to LifeAfterMine@basetitanium.com


Any such revocation of consent or changes to data will apply to future use of the database only. It will not be possible to remove data from already published materials.


e) Data Retention:


Your personal data will be retained in the Skills Database while you are an active employee of Base. In case of termination or resignation, your data may be retained for a reasonable period as legally required and/or up to when you revoke your consent.


f) Acknowledgement


By submitting a profile you voluntarily provide consent to Base to collect, store, and use your personal data as described. Further, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the above information regarding the usage of your personal data in the Skills Database. Where English is not your first language, you also confirm that the contents of this page has been explained in a language that you understand.
