Overseeing four different mining sites/ units with vast mining staff that included mining shift supervisors, team leaders, equipment operators other mining personnel in am open pit mining operation.

• Provide guidance to ensure the effective execution of mining activities through managing work schedules, assigning tasks, and evaluating the performance of team members.
• Enforce safety protocols to minimize accidents, injuries, and occupational hazards.
• Develope mining production plans in coordination with mine engineers and geologists.

Lead and coordinate a mining site/unit team of mining operators, Equipment operators other personnel by assigning tasks, and monitoring progress to meet production targets.

• Participate in safety meetings, inspections, and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure that workers adhere to safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Monitor the condition and performance of both mechanical and electrical equipment, reported any issues and malfunctions to senior supervisors and coordinated maintenance activities.
• Collect and report operational data, including production volumes, equipment usage, and safety incidents which are often used by senior supervisors and management for decision-making and performance evaluation.
• Conduct training and development of new employees on safety procedures, equipment operation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, analyze operational data, and suggested ideas to senior supervisors for optimizing workflows, reducing costs, and enhancing productivity.
• Ensure that production targets are met by monitoring mining progress, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing corrective measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geologists, engineers, and maintenance personnel, to optimize production processes and resolve operational challenges.
