Job Description/Purpose

Responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety of equipment and facilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Creating and closing work orders
  • Forecasting PM work orders.
  • Creating annual budget for the department, booking out parts from the main warehouse, creating weekly plan for the department
  • Raising RFQ’s (request for quotations) and PO’s (purchase orders) for non-stock items, creating weekly and monthly reports for the departments i.e. Plan vs unplan report, backlogs report, EOM and downtime analysis report.
  • Machine running hours report.
  • Root cause analysis report
  • Creating ANSI to add or reduce stock at the warehouse, chasing for parts from suppliers.
  • Prepare preventive maintenance plans that are aligned with the organization’s maintenance goals
  • Serve as a liaison between maintenance and operation
  • Assist and support HME Superintendent.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors.
  • Create maintenance schedules and generate work orders
  • Maintain parts inventory.
  • Adjust schedules to account for unexpected emergency work
  • Create the department budget
  • Create a root cause analysis incase of a major incident or breakdown

Job Description/Purpose

Responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery

Job Responsibilities

  • Daily and weekly routine checks of machines and filling of PM workorders at the field.
  • Handling of breakdowns.
  • Dismantling and assembling of major HME mechanical components i.e. Engines, final drive, differential units and axles, Transmission, Torque converters.
  • Resealing of hydraulic cylinders.
  • Handling of preventive maintenance servicing of HME machines and Generators.
  • Test and repair HME machines i.e. Dozers (D11T, D10T and D7R),980H wheel loader, Excavators (360D ,323d and 320d),14M Grader, etc.
  • Repair/replace major components and parts on the HME machines, generators and auxiliary equipment’s by using hand and power tools.
  • Diagnosing problems with HME machines and performing maintenance work on them.
  • Handle Schedules periodic maintenance of machines and filling of PM work orders.

Key Achievement

Excellent proficiency using diagnostic computer systems such as SIS and ET in repairing the CAT machines.
